Tracey is a Partner in our Healthcare Regulatory Team and also a member of the firm's SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) Team.

She specialises in advising clients on a broad range of health and safety and regulatory issues, and has particular expertise in providing advice and representation in the defence of Corporate Manslaughter cases, notably R v Errol Cornish and Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.

Tracey is a solicitor advocate with rights of audience in all higher courts. As a criminal solicitor, she has extensive experience of defending both private and public sector clients in criminal proceedings and in interviews under caution.

In addition, she provides advice to clients who are subject to investigation by the police and by the Health and Safety Executive for breaches of health and safety legislation. She also advises clients who are subject to enforcement activity brought by the CQC. Tracey regularly provides training to Board members and health and safety managers on dealing with adverse incidents, health and safety legislation and corporate manslaughter.

Tracey has represented healthcare professionals and companies at inquests, and she also provides advice and support to healthcare professionals appearing as witnesses at court.
