Yes. We provide training for provider boards, senior managers and clinicians on the implications of the new Act and how providers can prepare for implementation.
We support mental health providers at every stage of the inquest process, developing a strategy to support witnesses and provide comprehensive evidence to limit the risk to the organisation. This includes working with the provider to demonstrate assurance to the Coroner (and other regulators who may be watching, including the police and CQC) around quality and safety improvement, reducing the risk of negative public and press scrutiny, and further regulatory investigation.
Yes. We support mental health providers with all aspects of CQC scrutiny ranging from well led preparation and inspection support and FACACC challenge, to the defence of CQC prosecutions. We are the only law firm to have successfully defended a CQC Regulation 12 prosecution of an NHS Trust.
