Our growing footprint in shipping and trade builds on our long-established expertise in insurance, technology, commercial litigation, regulatory, and energy and offshore. This allows us to offer a full suite of complementary services and provide industry-tailored advice on sanctions, competition law, M&A, intellectual property, cyber security and data protection.
Our clients include ports and terminals, shipowners and operators, ship managers, NVOCCs and commodity traders, and their insurers. We advise across the full spectrum of maritime contracts, providing business-enabling advice on the negotiation of charterparties, ship sale and purchase agreements, licenses, port and terminal concession agreements, and freight forwarding contracts. Our disputes work focuses on assisting clients to avoid and efficiently resolve contractual and non-contractual disputes arising from:
