Overview

The Home Office has announced an increase in the application fees for future visa applications for recruiting workers into the UK.

The facts

The relevant application fees affected are as follow:

What does this mean for employers?

The price increase is effective from 4 October 2023.

Employers should also note that the Immigration Health Surcharge (currently £624 per year) will be significantly increased in early 2024. As yet, there is no date for the increase.
