Graham is a partner in our Global Insurance group.  He is co-head of our Financial Institutions and D&O Service Line.

He specialises in insurance and reinsurance, in particular, in relation to commercial professional indemnity, management liability and financial institutions.  He defends third party liability claims against professionals (entities and individuals) and also advises insurers on coverage issues.  He also specialises in crime and fidelity claims.  Many of his cases have an international dimension and he works closely with our international offices and  the Legalign firms. Graham also regularly advises treaty reinsurers on coverage issues. 

Graham enjoys working collaboratively with his clients and ensuring he understands their strategic goals on any matter he is involved in.  He has spent time on secondment with a large international insurer in their global  corporate professional and financial risks team.  He uses his knowledge and insights gained through that experience to ensure his advice is pragmatic, commercial and always outcome driven. 

Graham has previously authored the CII’s legal bulletin, lectured widely including at the LMA, CII and has participated in webinars including for Advisen on the current state of the D&O market.  Graham also regularly lectures on current insurance and reinsurance topics and is always happy to attend at insurers' offices to provide training on specific issues.
