The amount compensators are required to pay to the Compensation Recovery Unit in relation to treatment provided to injured claimants will increase for injuries suffered on or after 1 April 2022 as follows:

The cap on total recoverable NHS Charges will increase from £54,682 to £56,260.
The increase this year is more in keeping with the increases seen prior to 2021 and insurers will need to ensure that their reserves for accidents which occur on or after 1 April 2022 reflect the increased level of charges.
