International law firm DAC Beachcroft's Claims Solutions Group (CSG) scooped a duo of awards at last night's Insurance Times Awards ceremony in London.
Associate Ieuan Poole was named 'Young Achiever of the Year' in recognition of his role as technical and strategic lead for CSG's Vehicle Hire & Damage (VH&D) team. Having progressed rapidly and been CSG's youngest ever supervisor, Ieuan is now responsible both for the technical development of the team's 140 colleagues, as well as providing strategic and technical advice on vehicle hire and damage claims to 40 insurer clients. He has successfully taken cases to the Court of Appeal and is currently awaiting a Supreme Court ruling on a highly technical issue relating to credit hire contracts.

CSG also collected a silver award in the 'Business Partner of the Year' category for its support package to help insurer clients understand and implement the new rules for the extension of fixed recoverable costs in personal injury claims. The rules have been described as the most radical change to civil litigation in over a decade.
Collecting the award, Emma added: "The Insurance Times Awards have such a strong reputation that winning this silver award is a fantastic acknowledgement of all the hard work our teams have put in to developing and maintaining our fixed recoverable costs support package for our clients."
