Stephen Gorman is a property and construction insurance lawyer in our Manchester office.
His property insurance practice includes large and complex recoveries for insurers and advising on all aspects of policy coverage, including fraudulent claims, policy voidance, breach of warranty and condition, co-insurance and reinstatement on property, liability, construction/engineering and project policies and policy drafting.
Stephen's experience includes:
A multi-million pound recovery on behalf of 18 insurer and non-insurer client's arising out of the Leyland Warehouse fire in 2011;
Advising on coverage in relation a range of PPP and PFI projects, including a failure of cladding at a hospital and, fire at a school;
Defending a range of liability claims, including contractors in relation to construction site fires, and meat suppliers in relation to alleged product liability.
He is an accredited mediator.
Stephen qualified in 1990 and joined legacy form DAC in 2000. He was managing partner of DAC's Manchester office from 2000-2010.
