International law firm DAC Beachcroft is pleased to announce the appointment of healthcare regulatory partner Susan Trigg.
Susan, who acts for a number of leading public sector health organisations and medical professionals in the Yorkshire area and across the UK, joins DACB from Bevan Brittan where she was a healthcare partner for the firm in Leeds.
Her expertise includes advising clients on regulatory and disciplinary proceedings, inquests and public law, as well as medico-legal issues such as data protection, confidentiality and consent.
Susan will undertake and provide senior support on complex inquest instructions and regulatory work, contribute to the continued growth and development of DACB's work for NHS and social care providers, and supervise the firm's next generation of health and social care lawyers.
Hamza Drabu, partner and Head of Health at DAC Beachcroft, comments, "We are delighted to welcome someone of Susan's calibre to the firm. She is a vastly experienced health law expert who will provide further strength and senior-level leadership to our legal teams, and help reinforce our reputation as the law firm of choice for those working in the health and social care sector."
Susan adds, “I am very pleased to be joining DAC Beachcroft, a firm which is renowned for delivering exceptional service to its health and social care sector clients across the UK and internationally.
"I am also looking forward to working with NHS organisations and medical professionals on a range of inquest and regulatory matters, and providing legal advice which helps them deliver improved patient outcomes at what is a critical time for the sector."
Susan becomes the latest partner to strengthen DACB's market-leading health and social care sector team, with her appointment following that of health real estate specialists Victoria Armstrong and Lisa Geary earlier this year.
DACB is widely recognised as the leading strategic, commercial and regulatory legal advisor to the health and social care sector, providing innovative and practical support to more than 300 public sector and independent healthcare clients.
