  • Representing excess insurers in relation to class actions in US and worldwide arising out of alleged link between herbicide and Parkinson's disease.
  • Representing insurers on liability and recall coverage issues in light of defective windscreen panels being installed by an automobile manufacturer.
  • On the morning of the tragic fire DACB were instructed on behalf of Rydon Maintenance Ltd (“RML”) the Design and Build contractor retained by the local authority to undertake the refurbishment of Grenfell Tower. A Public Inquiry into the fire was announced the following day and RML was subsequently designated a core participant in the Inquiry. DACB continues to advise RML throughout the Inquiry as well as in respect of all parallel civil and regulatory proceedings.
  • Advising insurers in arbitration proceedings relating to coverage under a Restaurant Contamination policy following a salmonella outbreak at a major US fast food chain, involving chicken produced in China.
  • Advising excess insurers in relation to coverage issues arising from the sale and supply of GMO corn in China.
  • Advising multinational automotive manufacturers on product regulatory and potential liability issues following fatal accidents and regulatory investigations.
