Trade Union and Industrial Relations Measures Update

DAC Beachcroft are pleased to invite you to our webinar, focusing on aspects of the Employment Rights Act 2025's trade union and industrial relations measures. The measures significantly change the visibility and rights of unions to have a presence in the workplace and will impact all employers, whether or not they currently recognise a trade union. However, the changes will particularly impact employers without a recognised union.

In this 45-minute webinar, presented by our industrial relations law experts Nick Chronias and Philip Harman, we'll:

• Briefly touch on the measures that came into effect at Royal Assent and those effective from 18 February this year.
• Look at the changes making the statutory recognition process easier, which are due to come into effect in April this year.
• Explore what employers will need to do to inform workers of their right to join a trade union, and give unions access to workplaces ahead of their implementation in October this year.
• Consider what employers can do to prepare for the changes.
