Emily Senior

Emily Senior is a partner in our Clinical Risk team in Leeds, which specialises in resolving clinical disputes for the public and private health sector.

Emily has over 10 years’ experience of dealing with clinical negligence claims including those relating to catastrophic brain and spinal injuries, orthopaedic injuries, delayed diagnosis and management of cancer, and psychiatric injuries, predominantly for NHS Resolution, including group action work. She supports NHS Trusts on patient safety issues, risk management and governance.

Emily specialises in supporting healthcare providers in the aftermath of maternity incidents and is the firm’s lead Partner for supporting NHS Trusts with the requirements set by NHS Resolution in their Early Notification birth incident scheme and the Maternity Incentive Scheme. She delivers sessions to NHS Trusts on maternity safety, scorecard analysis and maternity claims requirements.
