International law firm DAC Beachcroft has been named ‘Law Firm of the Year’ at the Insider North West Residential Property Awards 2026, held last night in Manchester.
This marks the second time in three years the firm has secured the prestigious title, having previously won the category in 2024.
The judges recognised DACB for its strong collaborative team and its role in delivering high-value and complex residential development transactions.
Over the past five years, DACB has built a leading Residential Development practice in Manchester, shaped by its ambition to provide a full range of legal services to housebuilder and developer clients.
The team has advised on some of the region’s most significant schemes, including completing the purchase of 100 acres of land at Mosely Common, Wigan for Kellen Homes from Peel Land.
Investment in senior talent has further bolstered the breadth and depth of the firm’s residential offering. This includes the recruitment of partners George Parker‑Fuller, Jo Sears and Andy Johnson, as well as senior associate Samantha Dorricott.
Gemma Leonard, Head of DACB's Development team, said, "This award reflects the expertise and commitment of our team, and the trust our clients place in us to deliver high‑quality, commercially focused advice across ambitious residential projects."
DACB's Head of Real Estate, Alison Key, commented, "Our teams have worked incredibly hard to support the continued growth of the residential market. This recognition highlights not only the scale of the projects we advise on, but also the strength of our client partnerships and the breadth of experience we bring to every transaction. It also reinforces our position as a leading real estate adviser in the UK."
The Insider North West Residential Property Awards celebrate the standout businesses, projects and people shaping the region’s housing sector.
