Overview

International law firm DAC Beachcroft has announced the appointment of Keelie Evans as a Real Estate partner.

Keelie will provide strategic oversight of DACB's Plots team which includes Infrastructure, Site Set Up and Part Exchange transactions, and operates across the firm's Manchester and Leeds offices, further strengthening the firm's national residential development offering.

She joins from Gateley Legal, where she led the plot and site set-up team in Leeds, advising national housebuilders on land assembly and overseeing the infrastructure agreements needed to bring sites forward.

Her experience spans greenfield developments and complex regeneration schemes involving third-party landowners, as well as affordable housing transactions and Help to Buy sales.

Alison Key, Head of Real Estate at DAC Beachcroft, said, "Keelie is an important and strategic hire for our Real Estate team. Her arrival strengthens our plots capability at a time when clients are navigating a challenging market and need clear, commercially focused advice.

"This appointment reflects our continued investment in our national team and our focus on supporting clients across the residential development sector as the market continues to evolve."

Keelie Evans added, "DAC Beachcroft has a well-established reputation for its strategic, results-based approach, and I have been particularly impressed by the strength and reach of the Real Estate team. The opportunity to work alongside colleagues across the firm to support clients on complex, large-scale projects was a key factor in my decision to join. I’m looking forward to contributing to the continued growth of the practice."

DACB has one of the largest multidisciplinary real estate teams in the UK, with a national platform advising many of the country’s leading housebuilders, alongside specialist developers and housing associations.
