  • Biography

    Mark specialises in construction litigation and has experience of all forms of domestic and international dispute resolution.

    He has represented employers, developers, main-contractors and sub-contractors in relation to various matters such as the construction of hotels, prestige/landmark skyscrapers, power plants, waste and remediation projects, utilities, car parks, rail and infrastructure projects. Mark is also familiar with all types of standard forms of contract and has recent experience of NEC 3 and how it operates.

    In addition, Mark regularly has conduct of adjudications and related enforcement actions for clients.

    Mark has represented a number of parties in international sphere having conducted arbitrations under the ICC, UNCITRAL and LCIA rules. He has dealt with claims in relation to dredging works, de-salination plants, petro-chemical plants, infrastructure projects and power plant disputes.

    Also, Mark has wide experience of a variety of insurance matters, advising on all aspects of professional indemnity and contractors all risks insurance.

    Mark has lectured and written on all aspects of construction engineering.
