Colin Moore is part of the firm’s Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) team where he acts for companies and individuals who are being prosecuted for manslaughter offences (including corporate manslaughter) and offences relating to health and safety, fire safety and food safety and hygiene.
He is frequently called in to advise clients on site following fatal and serious workplace accidents where urgent assistance is required in the face of Police and HSE investigations. Colin regularly advises clients during criminal and regulatory investigations and provides representation at PACE and other interviews and at Inquests.
Colin's SHE work also includes advising clients at board level on regulatory and health and safety compliance issues, and providing bespoke training products. Colin also advises on risk related due diligence issues in transactions.
Colin was a part of the DAC Beachcroft team which successfully defended the first corporate manslaughter prosecution against an NHS Trust and he has led the defence of other high profile manslaughter and health and safety cases.
Colin has won the praise of clients for his 'excellent work' and 'invaluable help and guidance' in health and safety cases.
