Before joining DAC Beachcroft, Owain was Senior Legal Counsel at Legal & General working across their housing strategies and gaining a deep, commercial understanding of single and multi-family BTR, affordable homes, later-life living, and PBSA.

Owain's relevant experience includes:

• Scaling Legal & General's Suburban BTR platform from scratch via a series of large forward fund transactions and partnerships
• Working on Legal & General's investment into a pipeline of later living villages, developed as part of a JV with another national pension 
• Advising Legal & General's BTR, long income, and affordable homes funds across real estate, regulatory, and financing matters.
• Acting for a sovereign wealth fund on a series of forward funded PBSA schemes
• Advising on a management buy-out on one of the country's largest co-living schemes
