Biography
Natalie is deputy head of intelligence at DACB, specialising in intelligence analysis and organised fraud investigation. She leads a team of intelligence professionals who support and coordinate counter fraud investigations and produce a range of technical intelligence and analysis products.
Natalie joined DACB from UK Policing, where she worked as a crime and intelligence analyst in major, serious, and organised crime. She also supported complex internal investigations surrounding professional standards and corruption issues. She has presented a range of analytical products in crown court, receiving multiple commendations for her work.
Natalie has extensive experience investigating complex networks and criminal conspiracies, using volume financial and communications data to prove links evidentially. This experience enabled her to become a lead voice in the organised insurance fraud space upon joining DACB.
With almost two decades’ experience in intelligence analysis and fraud investigation, she now works with a range of clients advising on intelligence and analysis, investigation strategy, civil and criminal enforcement, and evidential matters.
With DACB, Natalie has successfully developed multiple civil organised fraud investigations through to successful law enforcement referral, achieving custodial sentences in multiple cases. She has authored a range of thought leadership articles in industry publications to educate and raise awareness of emerging fraud threats and regularly speaks at industry events.
