Steven Harrison worked for a short time in legal expense insurance before qualifying. He trained with Silverbeck Rymer in Liverpool and, before joining DAC Beachcroft, worked for Everatt & Co in Evesham.
Steven is engaged in representing clients facing prosecutions or investigations in regulatory matters. He regularly represents clients at PACE interviews and at inquests. He also advises clients generally on regulatory compliance issues.
Since joining the firm, Steven has represented clients in relation to fatal accident prosecutions in the Crown Court. He has also represented clients faced with food hygiene and environmental pollution breach of permit investigations.
He handles all types of defendant personal injury work specialising in high value public and employers liability claims, including disease work. Steven has a particular interest in construction site accidents and the interpretation of the applicable regulation.
In terms of disease work, Steven has dealt with cases involving systemic sclerosis, bladder cancer, silicosis and extrinsic allergic alveolitis.
