Guy Bredenkamp is an experienced employment lawyer who specialises in advising large employers on all aspects of employment law, in particular major organisational change, boardroom issues, TUPE and high-value disputes, including industrial action. He has extensive experience in the health sector, advising on professional misconduct and capability issues, service wide reconfiguration and very large multiple equal pay claims.
His experience includes:
Defending one of the largest multiple equal pay claims in the NHS, including a pivotal national test case;
Authoring guidance on managing industrial action for a national body representing employers of over a million staff;
Advising on a national reconfiguration involving over 45,000 staff and complex TUPE and redundancy issues.
Guy heads the firm's North East employment team and leads the DAC Beachcroft Employee Relations Unit. He speaks regularly at local, regional and national meetings and conferences on employment issues.
