Caroline Hall is a large loss solicitor in our Bristol office. Since 2000 Caroline has acted for various insurers on claims arising out of motor, employer and public liability accidents. During this period she has regularly undertaken secondments and surgeries within client's offices.
In recent years she has handled cases valued at up to £2 million as primary fee earner, and assisted on cases in excess of this figure. Her specific area of experience is dealing with chronic pain, CRPS, Fibromyalgia, subtle brain injury and somatisation cases.
Acting for a lorry driver in a cyclist claim, where the claimant sustained an above knee amputation when he attempted to cycle between a bus and lorry. Corrupted CCTV was repaired and showed the accident having been caused by the bus and cyclist. The claim against the lorry was dropped;
Acting for the defendant in a minor road traffic accident claim, where the claimant, despite suffering a minor whiplash injury, had progressed to using a wheelchair and presented a claim for £2,990,444, but which settled for 10% of the pleaded schedule;
Successfully defended a higher education establishment when a student fell out of a top floor window, rendering him paraplegic.
