International law firm DAC Beachcroft has advised Wates' Land and Development division, part of the Wates Group, on its acquisition of Midlands-based land promoter Manor Oak Homes.

The acquisition marks an important step in Wates' growth and regional expansion strategy, bringing 52 maturing sites into its land portfolio and supporting the establishment of a strengthened Midlands-focused regional operation.

Manor Oak Homes has built a strong reputation for the quality of its sites and its delivery-focused approach. The business will operate as Wates Manor Oak, with its existing leadership team remaining in place to ensure continuity.

DACB was retained by Wates to advise on all real estate matters arising from the transaction, working alongside the wider professional team to support its successful completion.
