International law firm DAC Beachcroft is pleased to announce that partner Ben Daniels has officially taken up the role of Senior Partner, succeeding Virginia Clegg, who has completed two successful five-year terms leading the firm.
Ben joined DACB in 2008 and has built an outstanding track record of leadership and client service. A highly respected commercial litigation lawyer, he has led departments in the firm's Commercial, Technology and Regulatory group and in Litigation. He also served as Location Head for the firm's Bristol office until earlier this year and previously held two consecutive three-year terms as an elected member of DACB's LLP Group Board from 2017 to 2023.
As Senior Partner, Ben will chair the LLP Group Board, DACB's senior governing body responsible for setting and monitoring the strategic direction of the business. Working closely with the Board and leadership team, he will play a pivotal role in advancing DACB's long-term objectives and driving continued growth.
Commenting on his appointment, Ben said, "I'm honoured to have been elected by my partners at such an important time for the firm. I'm grateful for their trust and support, and I look forward to continuing our work together as we strengthen our services, deepen our commitment to clients, and futureproof our firm."
Outgoing Senior Partner Virginia Clegg added, "I'm very pleased to be handing over the baton to Ben. His election reflects the confidence our Members have in his experience, leadership and vision for the future of our firm. I know he will bring fresh perspective and energy to the role, and I'm confident the firm will continue to go from strength to strength under his leadership."
Ben's appointment follows the recent election of Helen Faulkner as Managing Partner. She assumed the role in November 2025, succeeding David Pollitt after his decade of leadership.
