International law firm DAC Beachcroft is pleased to announce the hire of partner Ronan McLoughlin, bolstering the firm’s Real Estate capabilities in Dublin.

Ronan has significant experience advising on both commercial and residential property matters, ranging from acquisition, development, sales, leasing and property management to property aspects of mergers and acquisitions, project work and financing.  His clients are both domestic and international, operating across all sectors, and include investors, developers, occupiers, and funders.

Ronan’s hire comes during a period of significant growth for DAC Beachcroft’s Dublin office.  This latest partner hire follows the recruitment in autumn 2019 of Corporate partner Sharon McCaffrey and Competition Law partner Joanne Finn, along with a team, and the promotion in spring 2019 of Niamh McKeever to partner to head up the firm’s healthcare group which provides a full service in the area of medical malpractice in Ireland.  The firm now boasts eleven partners in Dublin.

“We are continuing to invest in expanding our offering to meet the needs of our clients,” said Lisa Broderick, partner and location head.  “Ronan’s hire adds heavyweight transactional Real Estate capabilities to our team, perfectly complementing our existing Corporate and Commercial offering and our ability to offer a fully integrated, seamless service for our clients.

“Further strengthening our real estate practice has been a priority for us, and Ronan brings considerable experience with him.  He is very well known in the local Irish market and well respected in his field.  We are delighted to welcome him to DACB.”

Ronan added, “I’m very pleased to be joining DACB and am looking forward to working with the team at what is an exciting time for the firm in Dublin.

“Ireland’s commercial property market continues to perform strongly and there are significant opportunities both for clients and the firm.  With its truly international reach and wider corporate offering, DACB is a great place for me to further develop our expertise and commercial property practice.”

DAC Beachcroft celebrated its ten-year anniversary in Dublin in 2019 and started 2020 with a move to new premises at Three Haddington Buildings, Percy Place to accommodate the growth of the team.  Focused on delivering bespoke solutions for its clients, DAC Beachcroft’s Dublin office has specialists in insurance (professional indemnity and defendant personal injury), health, commercial litigation, employment, regulatory law, corporate, competition, and real estate.
