Biography
Mark has more than 24 years’ experience handling complex litigation, investigations and regulatory matters for directors and officers, professional services firms and financial institutions. His practice spans high‑value commercial disputes, financial lines coverage issues and multi‑jurisdictional regulatory investigations.
He acts before the courts of England and Wales and has extensive experience across the leading common and civil law forums in the Middle East, including the DIFC Courts, ADGM Courts and the Qatar International Courts, as well as international arbitration bodies such as the ICC and DIFC‑LCIA. Mark also regularly advises on mediations and alternative dispute resolution.
Mark frequently defends directors, officers and senior executives in investigations and disciplinary proceedings before specialist regulatory tribunals, including the DIFC Financial Markets Tribunal.
Qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales since 2002, he is also a Part II‑registered advocate before the DIFC Courts and a registered Legal Consultant with the Dubai Legal Affairs Department. He divides his time between London and Dubai.
