Jon is an associate in the Bristol office. Jon has historically carried out work for a broad variety of professionals however now specialises in construction and policy coverage disputes.

Jon routinely advises insurers in respect of insurance policy terms and conditions, using his previous experience both as a claims handler and also from his time on secondment in the claims department of a Lloyd’s broker.

Jon has extensive experience of litigated matters (both in the Technology and Construction Court and the county and Business and Property courts) and also via alternative dispute resolution including mediation, early neutral evaluation, and various ombudsman schemes.

Jon has represented construction professionals when they are referred to their supervising professional body. He has also acted on behalf of claimant professionals/insurers in relation to recovery actions and for claims relating to a professional’s unpaid fees.
