Overview

International law firm DAC Beachcroft has announced the appointment of Owain Morgan as a partner in its Real Estate team.

Owain joins DACB from Legal & General, where he was Senior Legal Counsel. Prior to this, he spent almost a decade at Simmons & Simmons.

He brings significant experience in advising funds and asset managers on a broad range of real estate investment transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and financing, with a particular focus on development-led work in the Living Sector.

The appointment reflects DACB's continued investment in its Real Estate practice, which is one of the largest multidisciplinary real estate teams in the UK.

Alison Key, Head of Real Estate at DAC Beachcroft, said, "Owain is an excellent addition to our Real Estate partnership. He brings strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of the commercial drivers facing our clients. His arrival supports our strategy of building market‑leading strength across our national team, while continuing to invest in key regional markets.

"Owain’s approach aligns closely with how we work - delivering practical, commercially-focused advice and supporting clients on complex and often long‑term projects. We’re delighted to welcome him to the firm."

Owain Morgan commented, "DAC Beachcroft has an outstanding reputation in the real estate market, and I've seen first-hand the quality of its advice. The firm's ability to work closely with clients and colleagues across disciplines to deliver joined‑up solutions is a real strength, and I’m excited to contribute to its continued development across the UK."

Owain’s appointment follows a number of senior hires within DACB's Real Estate practice in recent years. Partners Gerald Kelly and Jim Roberts joined the firm in 2025, while in 2024 DACB welcomed partners George Parker‑Fuller, Joanne Sears and Andrew Johnson. Together, these hires further strengthen the breadth and depth of the firm's offering and underline its long‑term commitment to the market.
