Clarence is a Singapore qualified lawyer, who has also been admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales. He has significant expertise in insurance law, commercial litigation and international arbitration.

He has represented clients in complex and high-value disputes before the Singapore courts as well as in arbitration proceedings administered by SIAC and other arbitral institutions. He also regularly advises on insurance disputes arising from property, construction risks, public liability, employment risks and professional indemnity. He has also advised clients on policy coverage issues, and pursued subrogated recoveries against third parties.

• Advised the insurer of a government institution in respect of policy coverage issues arising from a Contractors All Risks policy and pursuing a subrogated claim against third parties.
• Acted for the scheme insurers under The Law Society of Singapore's Professional Indemnity Insurance in respect of professional negligence claims filed in the High Court of Singapore.
• Acted for a renowned insurer in respect of a subrogated claim arising from extensive damage caused to an airplane part.
