Louise specialises in defending complex injury claims by adults and children, public and private sector clients and their insurers (including care homes, nurseries, healthcare providers, religious organisations and leisure providers). 

Louise defends complex injury claims of physical and psychiatric harm, stress, harassment, and discrimination and infection control, she also advises on policy coverage issues. 

Relevant experience includes advising: 

• Multi-party claims following the deaths of 14 residents in a care home, involving complex issues in relation to fire safety procedures and staff training 

• A high value public liability claim against a social care provider, involving a number of care agencies and issues of causation 

• A number of claims against both healthcare and nursery care providers following the contraction and spread of E Coli and involving issues of vicarious liability 

• Claims involving psychiatric injuries, including somatoform, functional neurological disorder, and chronic pain
