Data protection and privacy

We provide a one-stop solution for our insurance industry clients' data protection advice needs, drawing on the experience and expertise of our regulatory, IT, and insurance distribution colleagues. Our advice is focused and considers the market practice and specific challenges of the insurance sector.

Data breach response and claims

Our 24/7 response hotline provides access to IT security experts, specialist lawyers, and experienced PR consultants who will investigate and advise on the legal, technical and commercial actions required to mitigate exposure following a breach. We also advise on regulatory investigations and resulting litigation. We regularly provide advice on international data breaches across multiple jurisdictions through our own offices and trusted partners.

Policy wording and product development

DAC Beachcroft has an industry cyber policy wording and product development practice. Our team has advised the most prominent insurers on cyber policy wording, product development, and some of the most pressing industry issues, including non-affirmative cyber and war exclusions.
