Tony has several years' experience advising clients on coverage disputes across a variety of lines of business including property and business interruption, public liability, product liability, and employers’ liability. He also has extensive experience in liability defence work, acting for insurers and their policyholders in respect of both property and casualty disputes. The clients Tony primarily works with are based in the London insurance market (both companies and syndicates) and he has particular experience and understanding of Lloyd’s syndicates as well as issues relating to MGA structures. Tony is also currently involved in a number of extensive policy wording review exercises. Featured experience: Advising the UK Branch of a German insurance company in respect of a policy avoidance and issues surrounding the rules of agency following a breach of the Duty of Fair Presentation Providing coverage advice, specifically in relation to risk transfer and insurable interest, following a serious fire at a major sporting event.
