Richard's work varies from straightforward and low value claims to multi-million pound, multi-party disputes. He also provides advice on policy and coverage response to insurers in respect of various professional indemnity policies. 

Richard’s relevant work highlights include: 

• Successfully defending a negligence claim brought against a firm of solicitors in respect of complex underlying criminal matters. The claim was dismissed in its entirety following trial following which 95% of the costs incurred were recovered. 

• Advising insurers in respect of a policy notification regarding insolvency proceedings, costs sanctions, fraud, and dishonesty 

• Repeatedly succeeding at mediations and other forms of ADR, often based on an intricate grasp of the underlying facts and legal principles
