Trade Union and Industrial Relations Measures Update

The measures significantly change the visibility and rights of unions to have a presence in the workplace and will impact all employers, whether or not they currently recognise a trade union. However, the changes will particularly impact employers without a recognised union.
In this 45-minute webinar, presented by our industrial relations law experts Nick Chronias and Philip Harman, we'll:
- Briefly touch on the measures that came into effect at Royal Assent and those effective from 18 February this year.
- Look at the changes making the statutory recognition process easier, which are due to come into effect in April this year.
- Explore what employers will need to do to inform workers of their right to join a trade union, and give unions access to workplaces ahead of their implementation in October this year.
