Tony is an associate in the aviation team in London, advising insurers, reinsurers, and operators on complex aviation and aerospace disputes. His practice spans multi-jurisdictional airline work, including claims arising from aircraft damage and subrogated recoveries, as well as passenger injury and loss claims under the Montreal Convention, including baggage-related issues.

He also has experience in cargo matters, including charter agreements, damage, and delay, and routinely works with clients to identify commercial solutions alongside legal strategies. Tony also has experience in handling general aviation (GA) losses involving both hull damage and passenger injury or fatality as well as providing coverage advice for aviation and aerospace insurers and reinsurers.

• Pursuing a claim against an MRO in the Commercial Court on behalf of a UK carrier for damage to an aircraft during routine maintenance 
• Handling and managing high volumes of passenger and baggage claims on behalf of major airlines and their insurers across multiple jurisdictions 
• Handling complex cargo claims and disputes in the English courts, including cargo charter disputes and damage, loss and delay claims  
• Defending public liability claims arising out of the Hawker Hunter aircraft crash at the Shoreham Airshow in 2015 
• Defending a claim against a flag-carrier airline for alleged property damage at a UK airport lounge 
• Providing general aviation advice and claims handling involving helicopters, light aircraft and small passenger jets (including ground collisions)
