Jennifer specialises in high value property damage, construction, and product liability claims and has broad experience of advising on coverage and liability issues both in the context of defending claims and pursuing subrogated recoveries. 

As well as litigating in the Commercial Court and the Technology and Construction Court, Jennifer has arbitral experience (both London and internationally).

In addition, Jennifer is a London GEN co-chair committee, DAC Beachcroft’s Diversity and Inclusion network, which focuses on supporting and encouraging women to succeed with their chosen career path.

Featured experience:

• Acting for insurers in London arbitration proceedings on a coverage dispute arising from alleged contamination at an industrial manufacturing facility 
• Acting for insurers in the London International Exhibition Centre Plc v RSA and others [2023] EWHC 1481 (Comm) in relation to the scope of cover available under business interruption policies which insure against losses occurring due to notifiable diseases occurring at the policyholder's premises, following the COVID-19 pandemic 
• Acting for the successful Claimant in DIPT v Sanglier; Sanglier v Apollo [2023] EWHC 426 (TCC), relating to the supply of a defective adhesive which was widely used in the UK and continental Europe 
• Acting for the successful second defendant in the case of Hiscox Insurance Co. Ltd v Quendon Interiors Ltd [2018] EWHC 3585 (TCC) which considered the test for claims in negligence
