What makes The People Pool different?

The People Pool offers much broader services and support than other providers in the market place. We can provide you with interim support for lawyers across a range of disciplines, deputy HR Directors, HR Business Partners, IR specialists and many others. Unlike most competitors in the market place:

• Our people have been hand-picked by us because they have worked for us, or impressed us when we worked alongside them previously. We know they will deliver an excellent service to you.
• We have consultants with a range of experience from former equity partners in major law firms to HR Directors and HR Business Partners. Most have specific sector experience in Health, Financial Institutions, IT, Telecoms, Manufacturing and Education.
• We offer much more than an introduction service. We can provide a fully flexible service so that your organisation only pays for the time that you require assistance from one of our people. You do not have to worry about sickness or annual leave issues as we manage these for you, and we will also supply an alternative person to cover any absences so you can rest assured that you will have an uninterrupted service.
• We provide our people with access to our training, know how, precedents and case management systems so that they are ready to work with your organisation as soon as we agree the scope of the project.
• The People Pool, is part of the international law firm, DAC Beachcroft LLP, so you can rest assured that we have the systems in place and the resource to deal with any legal or HR law issues your organisation faces.

Why should I not just go to my usual adviser?

The People Pool has a proven track record of delivering projects and services in a fully flexible manner. We can deliver any legal, HR or employment law project within our expert areas to your agreed timescales and to a fixed or otherwise agreed price. By being able to draw on a team of people we can plan and implement projects to meet your organisation’s objectives quickly and efficiently. Most law firms do not operate in this fully flexible manner, and do not embed HR professionals alongside employment lawyers, so cannot offer the seamless service that we can. How can I be sure the service will be of the high standard I’m used to?

DAC Beachcroft LLP has IiP Gold status and is covered by the quality assurance standards of ISO9001 to demonstrate objectively the quality of this service. We have hand-picked the individuals who work for The People Pool and each of these are high calibre individuals with significant amounts of experience. We will provide you with a list of individuals and their biographies so that you can choose who you want as part of your team.

Who do I contract with?

As a client, you will enter into a contract with DAC Beachcroft LLP. The People Pool is simply a trading name for DAC Beachcroft LLP and does not exist as a legal entity. DAC Beachcroft LLP takes responsibility for delivery of The People Pool’s services for you. DAC Beachcroft LLP has separate contracts with the consultants who deliver the service. They are independent consultants generally operating through their own limited companies. This will have no impact upon the service you receive because your contract is with DAC Beachcroft LLP.

How can I be sure I will receive value for money?

From the outset, we will agree with you a plan for any work your organisation wants completed and how that plan is costed. You will have complete transparency of the charges and can influence how the work is delivered to suit your organisation’s needs. As The People Pool is fully flexible, you can dip into the pool as little or as often as you require in the full knowledge of the fees that we have agreed.
