Sometimes our clients’ HR functions lack the resource or expertise to design and implement a large organisational change project. Recently, we acted for a global telecommunications client that lacked the HR capacity to carry out such a project. The project included reducing the client’s employee base in the UK and near-shoring work and transferring employees into Germany, Holland, Poland and the Czech Republic. Rather than engage a number of discrete HR contractors, it wanted to engage one firm to deliver a “cradle to grave” service so that it could outsource the management of the project as well as its implementation.
