Biography
Sarah specialises in commercial law, regulatory and governance matters.
She has over 8 years’ experience advising clients in the health and social care sector. Her key clients include NHS commissioners and providers, digital health and medtech companies, and large primary care service providers.
Sarah has advised on a wide range of matters, including major strategic procurements, public /private sector collaborations and joint working arrangements, due diligence in the context of corporate opportunities, and regulated commercial contracts in the health and social care sector. She is particularly experienced in managing strategic projects for clients and has worked on numerous large-scale procurements for high-value, complex services.
Sarah’s experience in advising health and social care sector clients means that she is an expert in understanding the regulatory framework in which such clients operate. As such, her commercial advice is pragmatic and tailored, enabling clients to find innovative solutions.
Relevant experience includes advising:
- A large NHS trust on its negotiation of a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) contract with a number of potential bidders through a multi-stage procurement process and finalising the contract with the preferred bidder.
- Private digital health providers seeking to establish digital health services in the NHS on commercial, regulatory and strategic matters.
- A national commissioner on the commercial and procurement issues and project management of two major strategic multi-lot procurement processes for complex cancer services with a range of stakeholders.
