Juliet has specialised in healthcare law since qualifying as a solicitor in 1998. She joined DAC Beachcroft in 2008, initially as a fee earner specialising in legal issues relating to patient care and treatment - including coroners’ inquests, mental capacity/treatment cases, mental health legislation, serious incidents and CQC regulation - and, since 2016, as a Knowledge Lawyer.
In her role as Knowledge Lawyer, Juliet supports our clients - including NHS bodies, independent healthcare providers, social care providers and charities - by keeping them up-to-date with the latest legal and sector developments, including by supporting our Health, Care and Public Law teams to produce regular e-alerts, podcasts and webinars on key ‘hot topics’ affecting the sector.
Juliet also supports clients and colleagues with staying ahead of the curve in the fast-changing legal and regulatory landscape affecting the health and social care sector, through horizon-scanning, thought leadership and sharing of insights.
