Aisling Parkinson

Aisling joined DAC Beachcroft in 2019 following more than 12 years at a leading law firm where she was a Senior Associate in their Employment Group.  Aisling advises on all aspects of employment and equality law, both in contentious and non-contentious matters.

Her work has included advising on all matters arising out of the employer-employee relationship including termination and redundancy procedures, general compliance with working time models, internal investigations and also the preparation and review of employment contracts, company handbooks, and human resource policies to ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and best practice. She has extensive experience of advising employers on internal grievance, disciplinary and termination processes.  Aisling previously spent fifteen months working on secondment on a part-time basis with a leading international financial institution, in conjunction with her role as a private practice advisor.  This experience provides Aisling with a unique insight into the day to day employment issues facing large employers.

Aisling also has experience in assisting clients navigate the potential application of the Irish TUPE Regulations as a result of outsourcing projects.  She has recent experience assisting an international luxury brand retailer in the area of outsourcing and all employment related matters.

Her clients have included a variety of large multinational employers seeking advice on re-structuring and transfer of employees, as well as assisting in the management of general employment related issues, with particular focus on international tech companies, retail corporates and financial institutions doing business in and through Ireland.
