International law firm DAC Beachcroft is pleased to announce that its Members have elected two new members to its LLP Group Board, as it continues to build on the firm’s successes of the past few years.
The two new Board members are recently re-elected Dublin Location Head and Litigation partner, Lisa Broderick, and Bristol-based Insurance partner, Marcus Campbell. The duo took up their appointments with effect from 1 May 2021 for an initial three-year term.
Led by Senior Partner Virginia Clegg, DAC Beachcroft's LLP Group Board is the firm's senior governing body and is responsible for setting and monitoring the strategic direction of the business. Other members of the ten-strong Board are: Managing Partner David Pollitt, Group Finance Director David Gillard and Member-elected partners Ben Daniels, Khurram Shamsee and Ruth Winterbottom. The Board also counts Non-Executive Directors Jenny Hill and Ian Starkey as members.
Announcing the new appointments, Virginia Clegg commented, “I am delighted to welcome Lisa and Marcus to the Board and have every confidence that their commitment, drive and experience, particularly on the international side, will be invaluable in helping us to achieve our strategic objectives. I am also very pleased that, with Lisa’s appointment, four of the ten LLP Board members are now women.
“I also want to thank Udara Ranasinghe and David Weatherburn, our two departing Board members, for their service over the past few years. Their insights and counsel have been invaluable to our business.”
