International law firm DAC Beachcroft LLP has appointed Andrew Clare as a Legal Director in its Manchester Corporate team.
Prior to joining the firm, Andrew spent three years in Toyko acting as Senior Legal Counsel for global management, consulting and professional services company, Accenture. Andrew has also worked in the corporate finance teams at several US firms, including Baker & McKenzie, Squire Patton Boggs and Latham & Watkins.
Andrew joins DAC Beachcroft's national Corporate team, which comprises in excess of 40 lawyers who acted on more than 90 completed transactions in 2016 with an aggregate value above £1billion.
Andrew's specialist areas include advising on mergers and acquisitions in public and private sectors, private equity, equity capital markets and outsourcing. His practice focuses on the technology and life sciences sectors, particularly in the context of large, complex cross-border outsourcing arrangements.
Having worked and studied in Japan, Andrew also has particular expertise in advising Japanese businesses both in Japan and the UK and is able to work in the Japanese language.
