International law firm DAC Beachcroft LLP has appointed Victoria Kennedy as a Partner in its market-leading Claims Solutions Group.
A specialist in defending complex, high value employer's and public liability claims, Victoria acts for both insurers and large corporate clients, particularly in the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors. She joins from BLM, where she was also a Partner.
Described in The Legal 500 (2016) directory as 'tenacious' and the 'absolute epitome of the modern lawyer', Victoria also has considerable experience of advising on health and safety (H&S) issues, including regulatory investigations, inquests and prosecutions brought by the Health and Safety Executive and local authorities, following very serious or fatal accidents in the workplace.
Commenting on Victoria's appointment, Craig Dickson, CEO of DAC Beachcroft Claims Solutions Group, said: "We are delighted to welcome Victoria to DAC Beachcroft and are very much looking forward to working with her. Her depth of knowledge in defending large loss Casualty claims, coupled with her H&S expertise, makes her a very exciting addition to our national Claims Solutions Group."
Victoria added: "I am really excited to be joining such a talented and respected national team. DAC Beachcroft has an outstanding reputation for its Casualty and Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) work and I am looking forward to helping the team build on its already exceptional credentials."
