Integration projects require collaboration between various organisations, many of which operate within different governance structures and regulatory regimes. The NHS landscape is highly regulated and navigating that environment to create a patient centred joined up service does sometimes run up against obstacles.
We have identified a number of obstacles which are set out in the left hand column. As our work on new models of care develops, we will be tracking any other issues that we come across, in order that we can liaise with the relevant stakeholders and will seek to provide suggested solutions as to how such obstacles can be overcome.
