Niamh McKeever leads the healthcare team in DAC Beachcroft Dublin. The team includes senior associate, Aisling Crowley, associates, Laurence Mulligan, Stephanie O’Connell and solicitor Claire Morrissey all of whom have extensive healthcare and litigation experience.

Our healthcare team provides a full dispute resolution and claims support service in respect of medical malpractice and clinical risk claims in which we aim to achieve the most commercially satisfactory outcomes while protecting the client’s brand and reputation. We also provide an advisory service to healthcare organisations including nursing homes and care home centres.
We represent a range of healthcare providers and provide advices to our clients in all areas and levels of healthcare provision including, health insurers, healthcare organisations, public and private hospitals, consultants, doctors, nurses, counsellors, dentists, intellectual disability services, fertility clinics, cosmetic clinics, diagnostic clinics, optometrists, pharmacies, laboratories and medical devices companies.
We have one of the largest London market insurer client bases in Ireland.
We are strong advocates of alternative dispute resolution forums and have extensive experience in mediation.
The healthcare team keeps up to date with the latest case law, legislation and market developments to provide our clients with the most comprehensive advice available. We work closely with the wider DAC Beachcroft healthcare teams across the UK and our international offices.
We offer a comprehensive dispute resolution service at the highest possible level, working with insurers, key brokers and insureds in risk assessment and improvement. We advise on potential third party liability and we represent insurers in coverage disputes.
