Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution

Our commercial litigation and dispute resolution team specialises in advising domestic and international clients in relation to a wide range of commercial disputes with particular expertise in the areas of corporate, property, financial and insurance disputes. The team has extensive experience in advising on complex, high profile litigation.

The Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution team is led by Location Head Lisa Broderick and partner Rowena McCormack. Together with senior associate Julie-Anne Binchy, the team includes associate, Charlotte Burke and solicitor, David Freeman.

Our approach to dispute resolution is simple: we strive to protect our clients' interests by achieving the best commercial outcome for clients whilst minimising the cost, damage and disruption to business. The team provides clients with pragmatic commercial advice in a timely and cost-effective way with a view to preventing the escalation of disputes at an early stage. Where this is not possible, the team has considerable expertise in resolving disputes through mediation, arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution together with managing all levels of litigation before the Irish courts.

We work closely with our clients in order to determine and agree the most effective and efficient strategy to accomplish their objectives.  We are always cognisant of preserving existing business relationships.  Once we understand your precise requirements, we will tailor a team to your maximum benefit and work on securing the best outcome for your business.

We provide comprehensive advisory services in relation to all aspects of dispute management and resolution including:

  • strategic pre-litigation advices
  • commercial and contractual disputes
  • judicial reviews
  • financial services disputes
  • defective product and product liability claims
