Dispute Minimisation

We firmly believe that an essential part of managing disputes is working with clients to seek to minimise or avoid them.

Commercial disputes cost Irish business and public sector bodies hundreds of million of euro annually. The cost in management time, emotional energy, relationship damage and leadership distraction is incalculable. We are strongly of the view that prevention remains the best form of conflict resolution.

However, we fully recognise that disputes cannot always be prevented. Where disputes are unavoidable, we can add value by minimising the risk of disputes and by strengthening our clients' position in advance of a dispute. This improves our clients ability to succeed or push for an early and favourable resolution.

We work with our clients to prevent or minimise disputes or to seek to resolve them more quickly and cost effectively.
