Overview

International law firm DAC Beachcroft has secured yet another set of strong rankings in the recently published 2024 Chambers Guide to Latin America, further cementing its position as one of the leading insurance law firms in Latin America.

DACB has retained all of its existing rankings, including a top-tier, Band 1 ranking for Insurance: International Counsel in recognition of its expertise in advising on high-level, cross-border mandates involving Latin America.  In Chile and Colombia, the firm continues to be recognised in Band 2 for Insurance, while in Mexico it has secured a Band 3 ranking.

Following DACB's launch in Buenos Aires in August 2023, the firm now boasts a Band 1-ranked individual in Argentina, with partner Martín Argañaraz maintaining his long-standing top-tier ranking in Insurance.  Partners Andrés Amunátegui (Chile), Anthony Menzies (London) and Duncan Strachan (London) secured Band 2 rankings in Insurance, along with Senior Consultant Camila de la Torre (Colombia).  Camila was also once again recognised as a 'Most in Demand Arbitrator' with her Band 1 ranking in Dispute Resolution.  Mark Kendall (London) and Miguel Ángel de la Fuente Estrada (Mexico) have been ranked in Band 3 for Insurance, while Juan Diego Arango (Colombia) has retained his ranking as an 'Up and Coming' lawyer.

Andrés Amunátegui, Partner and Head of LatAm at DACB, said, "We are making further investments into the region following our recent launch in Argentina, and I am very pleased that the efforts of our talented team in LatAm are being acknowledged.  We continue to go from strength to strength, and these latest rankings recognise the dedication and commitment we put in to ensure our clients succeed."
