The use of ILS is a rapidly-evolving method of risk transfer, and legal support to ILS transactions has a key place in DAC Beachcroft’s client strategy.

Highlights of our recent work relating to ILS and related complex investments include:

A collateralised reinsurance transaction for the Bermudan captive of a global investment bank;
Advice on collateralisation, trust and protected cell structure, plus alignment of standard treaty wording for a London listed Lloyd's Market insurance and reinsurance group;
