Sue Howes is a partner in our Newcastle office. She specialises in all areas of Employers and Public Liability claims with a particular expertise in claims against local authority and housing providers.
Her practice leans towards the more complex and higher value claims, and she has experience in claims including stress, bullying and harassment, claims under the Equality Act and catastrophic injury.
Sue regularly contributes to publications and training sessions on claims affecting the public sector, including those presented by the Association of Local Authority Risk Managers (Alarm) whose annual forum she has attended for many years.
She qualified first as a Legal Executive obtaining Fellowship status in 1999, before going on to qualify as a solicitor in 2001 and joined DAC Beachcroft in 2016.
